The Hundredth Hunt : Sun Mar 13th

LOCATION: Centennial Square
AFTER-PARTY: Sopranos Bar & Grill (730 Caledonia Ave)

What a long, strange hunt it's been. We've long since lost track of the number of tags made, miles collectively run, ankles twisted, innocent civilians trampled, fences scaled, and vehicles narrowly dodged. BUT our records confirm that this is indeed Victoria's 100th game of ManHunt, and naturally, it seems like a good excuse to celebrate.

We'll spend the afternoon running amok downtown, and then move on to Sopranos Bar & Grill (730 Caledonia Ave) for food, drinks and fun (19+ only, sorry minors!) If you can't make the game, you're still invited to the party, and vice versa. Here's our itinerary for the day:

GAMES... 3:00pm - 5:00pm
DINNER... 5:30pm - 7:00pm
PARTY... 7:00pm - 11:00pm

GAME 100 (3:00pm - 5:00pm)

Meet us downtown in Centennial Square (off Douglas/Pandora) at 3pm SHARP! Newcomers, make sure you're on time so we can explain the rules before we get crackin'. Click the link below for your game map (refer to area MHV 01). NOTE: the boundaries may be expanded if we get a larger crowd than expected.

As most of you know, we require a signed waiver (19+) or permission form (18-) for all players. If you haven't yet submitted a form, please find them below.

DINNER (5:30pm - 7:00pm)

Our good friends at Sopranos are extending some kick-ass food & drink specials to the ManHunt crew:
- Burger, fries & beer $8.00
- 3-topping personal pizza $6.00
- 40-cent wings
- Double hi-balls $6.00
- Sleeves of Sopranos Lager $3.75

PARTY!!! (7:00pm - 11:00pm)

In addition for FREE POOL all night long, we've also got a trivia quiz and karaoke contest lined up! There'll be a 50/50 raffle and some great draw prizes too! Admission to the party is free of charge (NO COVER!), but we're hoping to raise some cash to help cover our regular ManHunt costs (medical supplies, armbands, lawsuits, etc), and also to raise funds for a new project called "Go Play Victoria," which aims to run more free games (watch out for upcoming Dodgeball announcements!) and make it easier to find information about other great groups in town that hold similar active/outdoorsy/cheap/fun events.

We're hoping to make this the biggest, baddest, bestest ManHunt EVER! So spread the word, tell your friends, and come on out to help us usher in the triple-digits.

If you have any questions at all, or if you'd like to help out with the party (prize donations, media contacts, etc), please drop us a line:

The folks at Sopranos are really doing us a solid by hosting this party. Take a peek at their web page -- you can browse their food menu, and skim through their karaoke song list ahead of time!

They also run a website that you should all check out; if you have a birthday, they can tell you where to get all kinds of cool free stuff!

Hope to see everyone in attendance to help us celebrate 100 fantastic games. Cheers!
